    So I'm getting a lathe.....

Thats right :) I have a small lathe coming for my birthday. I should be able to machine any custom urethane, aluminum, bronze, etc bushing I want for my car. I'm sure I'll find other cool uses for it too.

What kind of cheap custom bushings of _____ material would you guys be interested in? 8)

What ever you can think of i guess. Im sure there is a market for all the common bushings, you could probably make a killing on M3 offset CA bushings in urathane.

If so, I am confused how this is helpful in bushings. :?

Not a lathe designed for wood. Its a gunsmiths lathe, designed for turning metal. I could also turn urethane easily.

Oh cool, I was going to say that I got a lathe, but mine is just for wood. Oh well.

            Sounds Cool! :D

YES! exactly what i was going to say, except not urethane, you think you could match the factory durometer for offset bushings? i bet you could do pretty well with E46 CA bushings aswell.
