my gf's no-longer-around '89 325i coupe also had abs.

i have to disagree with an opinion above; seats, suspension, and trim aside, you'd better believe a limited-slip makes a difference; especially when there's trailing-arm rear suspension like ours to deal with.

Every BMW since 1985 has had ABS. So says their website.
