Who makes the best ellipsoid projector headlights?

I am trying to find some ellipsoid projector headlights for my 1991 318is. I know of bosch, hella, depo, MHT, and this one brand that has angel eyes in them already (im curious to know who makes these!). Which is the best headlight to get. Also, where can i find them? Does anyone know of any sites where i can see these?

    Thanks

hella, then bosch, then depo.. no idea who MHT is. Depo aren't bad for the price.. I got mine off ebay, the first set got broken in shipment, so they sent me another set, and I'm turning the broken set into smoked ellips. :)

Those ones with the angel eyes built in will most likely never be produced. They're having trouble getting TUV approval, which means that they'll certainly have even more trouble with the DOT. I wouldn't wait for them.

Fuck DEPO. They are a piece of shit company, that refuses to give any customer service. The gaskets on tehir lights suck balls. I will blacklist them till the day I die. BLOW ME DEPO.

Christ, all I wanted were the god damn aiming screws.

Hella, BOSCH. MHT headlights supposedly have been "almost in production" for damn near 2 years now. They will never make it there.

If you want the best lights check this guy out. Cibie CSRs are the best lights I've ever used.

If you want "cool looking" ellips are hard to beat!

to be fair, Cibies are extremely expensive, even compared to ellipsoids.. and both are a vast improvement over sealed beams.

heh.. they are both depo. sounds like you just got screwed by the seller. :(

you should be able to use the adjuster screws from a set of hellas.. no idea what those would cost though.

I was just going to pick up the frames from a set of US ellips. That way I would get rid of that crappy plastic anyway
