Hey guys, i’m trying to put my stock fuel pump hanger in but for some reason it won’t go in all the way. It seems to be hitting the bottom of some pan in the gas tank. Has anyone had this issue and solved it? Thanks

I remember replacing the in-fuel pump and had the same issue, then realized I was trying to put it in with the fuel level sender already installed on the hanger. The fuel level sender goes in after the hanger assembly....basically last thing before reconnecting the electrical
