i've heard of it on modified motors, never stockers though, maybe thats it?

Yeah. Maybe that's it. Perhaps it was a history of zero services of vtec unit at the dealers. 10psi H22 might not count towards this.

Reliabilty ~ in 13 years made 15million Vtec systems, and they have never, not once, had a single failure :shock:

yea ive herd of failures, but only on modded motors. w/ vtec that is.
