    what kind of spark plugs?

I have an 87 325 and have been using the bosch platinum plugs. But i have read some reviews saying that we shouldn't use platinum plugs. I think b/c their too hot. So i went out and bought standard Denso plugs and now my car stalls when i try to start it up. i never had this problem with the platinum plugs. What gives? What plugs do yo guys use? thanks Matt

i have denso in mine car, i was running bosch plat 2, but they suck ass...I could stand outside my car and just watch it rock back and forth at idle because of the plugs, changed them out to the densos and its been fine ever since.... when i pulled the plugs they weren't corroded, had oil on them or anything they showed normal wear too.. * weird* but cooper is the way to go.. which denso plugs do u have? i have 3131 i think or 3030s... seems most 80s bmws use either of those numbers

I have used NGK in everything I have ever
Seriously, Boats, chain saws, cars , motorcycles, 2 or 4 stroke
when others would foul NGK ran like a champ.
              NGK FTW!

I like the Bosch supers too, on my 85 318i it calls for Bosch silver plugs they don't last as long as the coppers but ther car loves them. NEVER run platimums in any car unless they are already O.E.
NGKs are also very good I use them in my 97 528i

Ditto on both the Bosch supers and NGK. Both work very well in the M20.

Running Bosch Supers in my 2.7i stroker - and wouldn't run anything else.
