    low beam headlights not working

my left low beam doesnt come on, but if i turn on the high beams it works so i know the bulb is still good. i visually checked the wires and checked the fuses in the fuse box under the hood and everything is good. any ideas on what is causing this and how to fix it?

replace the sealed beam, w/ projectors for best results ;)

by sealed beam im assuming you mean the whole headlight itself, since the bulb doesnt pop out like modern day cars. how would replacing the sealed beam fix my problem? because it works when i turn on the high beams, just doesnt when i turn on low beams

yeah thats a sealed beam, and h4 is a dual filament. So the low is burned but not the high...

the low beam fillament is dead. sealed beams have 2 fillaments, one for high and one for low. buy a new $5 light and put it in, problem solved. ;)

Probably most places, but just go to auto zone. Wally World would probably even have it. Just say no to Wal-Mart though.
