blower motor & ac dont work

my blower motor has not worked unless its on full blast since i bought it, now the ac button and recirc dont work and the blower motor too. final stage? fuses?

I have the same problem, except that the whole HVAC system only works once in a while. I just wired up a switch and 12V to the blower temporarily, looking to fix it for good tho.

were are the fuses for the ac and blower.

Blower problem is most likly the resistor pack that controls the speeds of the fan. Replace the AC switch to see if that is that problem.

Another vote for resistor pack. I have had this problem on other cars - fan only worked on high - and each time it was the resistor pack

This DIY is for the E36 & you replace the resistor pack from under the dash. Do I understand correctly that to do the E30 resistors, you have to pull the blower motor out of the firewall?

The resistor has nothing to do with the problem you're having.

If your fan only works on high, it's a very good chance it's the resistor though. Happened to my 89.
