BBK - what are the options on an e30?

(yes I searched - I guess there hasn't been too much discussion on this)

What the scoop - what setup are avaiable?

    IE?
    BREMBO?

    Is that it?

RPI-Equipped does a kit using Wilwood components (reasonable price)

Mov'it - uses Brembo components (very, very, very expensive)

IE - uses PBR components (reasonable price)

UUC, Stoptech, Brembo, 996 monoblocks...tons of options.

      But you won't find any 4-lug BBK's that big. :D Gotta go E36 5-lug.

Are most BBK only and upgrade to the front and leaves the rear stock?

yeah i have a similar question, when u do a bbk upfront it obviously throws the front to rear braking ratio out of wack. Is there some kind of general rule about how you should upgrade the rear. IE makes that rear kit maybe thats the best bet?

Mov'It do a BBK designed for 4 lugs. Stu, Ian Haynes has it on his Euro S50B32 powered Sport. Hides behined 17" BBS Rc C wheels.

a fact i learned almost TOO well while borrowing my grandfather's taurus a while back... dear god that was probably the scariest thing i've ever experienced while driving a car.... ALMOST sideswiped a city bus, went head on into oncoming traffic & got run over by the same bus, all in a matter of seconds.

                      Build your own!!

I used Mitsi Eclipse 2pot sliding caliper and Nissan Patrol discs mounted on a steel hat.
Discs are 290x26 (the IE kits are only 20mm thick or 28mm for more $$$).

                      Here is a pic:

                      And the mounting bracket:

I've been running this setup for 6mths now and it is awesome, can't even compare to stock!!
Here in NZ they need to be "engineer approved" for road use so they are structurally sound.
