Non Oem water pump desintegrated, just put in a new bmw one.

Just finished my timing belt and water pump job. All new hoses, tstat, cam seal, other things too. Just put everything back together today and ran the garden hose through the coolant reservoir to flush it out a bit before putting the new stuff in. Filled it up, closed the cap, connected the battery, and tried to start it.

Cranks but doesn't start. FML. The troubleshooting will begin in a few days, I've got two midterms this week :(

Oh and my reverse lights don't work. I got the switch for them that goes on the tranny, just need to put it on and see if that fixes it.

Had my first dud warning light from the overhead panel today =(
Washer fluid light even though full.

rear windows don't work
oil pressure light is on, along with a slight knocking at idle
re-adjusting valves tomorrow to get rid of the tapping.
hopefully I won't be spending money on fixing these things, because I'm saving for

My car's going in storage in about a week or two for the winter months, and all's good...

Until yesterday. I was driving home from a friend's and I noticed when I started my car, I had lost a lot of clutch travel. I just had the end of it where the friction point was, none of it up high.
I drive home, carefully, and when I went to start my car later that day, the clutch pedal flew straight to the floor!
I have no idea what the hell happened, and I now have to get it towed to my garage...

Sounds like your clutch slave cyl went out. Check your brake fluid it should be empty.

Anyways broken door handle inside, dead battery, no reverse lights, ghetto rigged cai, blown shocks, all bushings are toast fml.

this is 7 months and about $1300 later since i got the car. :'( i have bad luck
