Rear door not opening from the inside.

Has anyone else had a problem where the rear door wouldn't open from the inside? The handle won't budge at all. You can open it from the outside but you need to put forth more than normal force to open it.

So if there is anyone outhere that has had this problem, I'm just wondering how you went about fixing it.

    Thanks

Open it, pull it apart and lookf for siezed, bent, misaligned linkage, while you are at it, lube things in there.

it's probably the child safety lock. open the door from the outside and look for a little black switch on the back of the door, just under where the latch mechanism is. flip it and it your door should work normally.

If that is the problem I'm going to shoot myself!

I'll try it out when the car is back from the shop.
