Tomorrow is looking to be the "warmest" day on weather.com's 10-day forcast - high of 31 - so it looks like tomorrow's the day to get dirty with the car. I don't have access to a garage at school so I'm thinking I'm just gonna take over a few spots in a parking garage and camp out.
I picked up a new fuel filter and will be doing a long needed oil change. I read about this shit called sea foam, it's supposed to clean out everything in the fuel line and engine internals and such. I'll give that a try, I've read it just smoothes up the running all around. I got some of that carb cleaner to check for vacuum leaks as suggested above, and I've still gotta pick up a spray bottle to check the ignition wiring. The trusty Bentley detailed testing the AFM - except I don't have a fucking multimeter cause UVM ordered the cheapest shit possible for us aspiring electrical engineers to waste our money on
. Atleast I'll check the mechanical functioning of it if I can't come across a multimeter.
This is mostly off topic for this thread, but does anybody have any tricks for re-aiming the windshield cleaner spray-things? Mine overshoot the windshield beyond any kind of usefulness. I tried a paperclip I had lying around but the holes are way too small. Maybe a sewing needle?
