Hey guys, haven't posted in quite a while. Well about 2 weeks ago, I went to start the car, turned over, bogged hard, then shut down. Tried restarting it, alt. will crank but will not start. Car was not low on gas, reason why I say this was my father had an 87 back in the day and backed up an incline, and the car wouldn't start as no fuel was being sent to the pump. So the car has been sitting for 2 weeks, and I was wondering if you all think it is the fuel pump. I don't want to start buying parts left and right for the wrong reason. Plugs, distr., wires all <2 years old, same as fuel filter. Just wondering if anyone else has had a similar problem>?

Yeah I know the deal, obviously any engine needs fuel and a spark to start, just have to get to it. Just wondering if this was an issue for anyone is the past. About the M50 comment, I'm not going to dump the money into it now, considering it would need a 5-speed swap as well, plus some others. Just seems that within the past year the thing just hit the wall as far as being a very dependable, worry-free vehicle. Considering it is 17 years old, I commend it, not like I never maintained it though. I will re-post after I get out there in the garage. Thanks guys.
