What would cause a heater to not blow hot?

    psloan, it is most likely the first one. I have an '87 and that is what is in my car. My car is 05/1987, if that helps you.

        1990, okay, I assumed 1987 because that is what your profile says at the moment.

        If you go on RealOEM.com you will see that the second diagram you posted has some parts that are specific to Canada, etc. I would guess that you do not have this version.

        You can remove your the cover behind the intake located on your firewall and look behind it in order to see what blower motor you have. The cover comes off by removing only 4 bolts and 2 nuts. It's not hard.

          Thats where i snagged the diagrams from - i guess i didnt spend enough time looking at the pns. if the tstat dowsnt work ill crack it open and swap it out.

                That is why mine is drilled out!

                You will find this to be easier if you are a 92 lb. contortionist. Next best is a 6'1" 260 lb. car stereo installer....
