Whats the distance?

Anybody who has their car taken apart... i.e. MikeE30325i (I borrowed this pic from you) Attached I have a pic with a red box in the middle. I need to know what the distance in the box is. Like you would have to put a box in that spot and install it from the engine side as if the radiator was not there. I would really appreciate it. Thanks.

yes you can fit a 16" fan up there, its pretty tight though

don't know how wide it is, but it's about 16" tall.

Dimension of the opening yes. And no, not for a fan lol. Mike's car was the first good pic I found of that. I was trying to think of who would have pics like that, then I remembered that Mike didnt have a front end. :)

Why does this have euro drivers side in H1/H1 and sealed beams on the passenger side? Looks odd that way.
