    Good to know.

Well, having just seen the pics of LikeCDoos' car on the same suspension setup, now I'm really pissed. What could be causing so much negative camber? I hate it!

are your springs used?? The Pro kit is very famous for sagging after time. Maybe the fronts have sagged. My rear was sagging so i doubled the spring pads.

I'm pretty sure the PO bought the setup used.

I'm trying to sell it anyway, so if no one knows, no big deal.

I know you want a project, but I personally don't like FUCKing with accident cars......scary. A lot of things could be messed up without being able to find them......

**goes out to driveway, looks at front repaint & missing airbag, obviously screwed rear**

It wasn't in an accident, like he said, he just fucked up the steering rack. I'm sure whatever's wrong with the suspension can be fixed.

Screw it. The whole kit is coming off, and everything that can be rebuilt will be. I'm going to get an H&R cupkit.

I decided long before I got this car that none of my mods were going to be "settled on". There were so many things that I wanted to do my car before that I didn't, because I couldn't afford them.
                Not this time.

Considering gas prices, and the amount you're saving there, you're going to have such a nice car when the time comes! :D 8) ;)

                    Thanks, that's the plan. Nothing half-assed. :D

It seems like you might want to get that on a frame puller and see how straight the chassis is. My car is lowered a lot more in the front than that, and I don't even have half that camber. Something is seriously messed up in the front, and even the rear seems strange, it should have more negative camber than that. But it might be the massive amount in the front making the rear look less.

Let's drive fast and have fun.

I bit of my 2 cents here:
Unibody cars are a bit unique in that the frame IS the body. So, when you take a car that you have just bought and take it to the frame puller and say "I want it completely square and straight," you'll quite possibly end up with an inch wide gap in the door somewhere, or your fenders won't line up, and that is a HUGE pain in the ass.
                        I know.
Instead, consider getting something to let you adjust toe-in and camber in the back (like adjustable trailing arm bushings, bimmerworld sells them for cheap), and maybe something to let you adjust things further in the front. With all 4 tires completely adjustable (camber & toe in) you can compensate COMPLETELY for any shifted frame or body, and don't let anyone tell you otherwise. Your car might end up pointing 0.25 degrees to one side, but no-one will notice, and your tire wear and handling will be perfect.
Meanwhile, if you've got a bigass gap in between body panels, it's very noticeable and very hard to fix.

You may be right TJ, but I don't think there's anything wrong with the frame. I've seen one car in particular with the same setup, and his camber in the rear is fine. Like I said, the angles of those pics aren't great, and they make the rear look like it has less neg. camber than it actually does. It does have a small amount. I have also seen a lot of pics of Eibach lowered E30's that have a ton of neg. camber.

As I said, my plan is to get the CupKit on there, and replace the control arms an any other suspension parts that look like they need it. I'm sure it will be fine.

Well, Jordan is coming tomorrow. Mainly to do some other work with me, but to check out the suspension too. I'm really scared that it's going to be something that can't be fixed, like frame damage or something. If that's the case, the guy I'm buying it from (making payments) will be getting it back pronto.

Everyone cross your fingers for me. :D

haha do what the people did with my parts car (KeithV's old car) cut off the front nose from firewall forword and weld in a 318i front nose.

You could go even farther like they did and replace the engine while your at it.

I guess your plan failed before it got started 'cause that definitely looks half-assed.
$2k for that, WTF were you thinking?
