    Heater sucks

    Ever since the i swap my heater has only been luke warm, anybody know what the issue may be?

    Did you get a cooler thermostat? What do you need a heater for in SoCal anyhow...

      Do you have the heater lines hooked up right? The outlet from the head goes to the lower pipe on the firewall, the upper pipe is the long return hose to the thermostat housing.

          Yes, the same one that my turbo car had in it. The heater in that car kicked ass.

            Aren't the hoses different sizes. I doubt I reversed them. I will check tomorrow.

              Burp your cooling system again?

                ^^^ I second that. I think you have air trapped in the system somewhere. When you bleed the coolant, Raise the coolant reservior well above the engine. It should help in summoning any water bubbles out of there rather than having the reservior at the same level as the engine.

                    I have bled it twice now [while holding the reservoir nice and high] but I guess I will have to try it again.
