    325 brake swap

    what parts do i need to complete a front brake swap to the larger vented disk setup in the from from the 325's?

    just get both entire strut assemblies.

    Seriously... there is no sense fucking around with anything else. Swap that shit in (put your springs on tho, so you arent any more of a 4x4 then you already are)

    While you're at it, why not swap the whole rear in also? get some disc's back there.

      All you need is the calipers (and rotors to match).

      Swapping to the bigger (51mm) housings isn't a bad idea though - better shock selection.

        I know a friend that has a COMPLETE 87 325iS suspension. Everything.

        I know he would let it go for a reasonable price.

            Man, you can get 325 suspension for next to nothing these days. In fact, probably makes more sense to just get a 325i. I had a parts car last year that you could have taken the suspension from. I just left it on to roll the car around. I have since sold the car to Mspeigle, so I have no idea what happened to the suspension.
