    front valence help...

so as i slowly chip away, making minor changes to my car, i took off the plastic piece on my front valence that covers the lower slot in between the fog lamps.
so it kinda looks like this:

i'd like to remove those little bracket things in the red circles. i was able to cut the middle one out, but the two outer ones are kinda awkward.
    any suggestions?

--> edit: unfortunately, this is not my front end. thanks to the owner for the pic!

O.T. is that "plate filler" with BMW letters oem part?

It looks good because there is an intercooler there. It would look weird without one. And if you want to put an intercooler there to look cool, you should connect a turbo to it to make it functional :-D

                      Yay, my old car ^

And no, that BMW filler is not an OEM part. BMP or BavAuto sells it, I always forget which one.
