    fusable link question

    Do the 318i e30s with a battery under the front hood have a fusable link ?

    Jean, not sure on this question. My first guess would be no. Are you not getting any spark? The fuseable link would only cause a no spark.

      Not getting any voltage to the ignition coil, unless I am not measuring it right...

          Figured it out, I was mearing it across the +/- terminals.

          The problem was a broken distributor rotor, looks like my battery slides over and hits the damn thing..

            Thats odd, the same thing must have happened to my 318, i was turning a corner, then no power i was like wtf. My rotor was broken just like yours.

              the battery hold down in those was fucking terrible...move the battery to the back. :)
