Brake Light problem! Need fixed ASAP!!!

So I got into an accident a few months ago, and now I've got myself an electrical problem. When I push my brake pedal down the brake lights turn off. But if i'm not pushing down the pedal, the brake lights stay on. So somehow its reversed.

I just ordered a new back up light switch to replace it but it's the same. But the switch is threaded differently if that matters.

Try a new brake light switch. I don't know why you replaced the reverse light switch for this problem.

Well no, I pulled out the old brake light switch, and I went to autopartswarehouse.com but their brake light switch looked different. Their back up light switch looked the same as my brake light switch.

try a site that actually sells BMW stuff. bavauto.com has a fairly decent website, and the prices aren't always that bad. plus they won't send you the wrong stuff (usually).
