Whenever I hit small bumps or pot holes there is a click from the driver side front suspension area. If I depress the brake at all it goes away. I checked all the bolts for tightness and everything seems good. I am thinking it may have something to do with my other problem. Checking to see if this is a known issue of some type on the e30 for something to check :)

look at the u shaped swar bar mount bracket that mounts the swaybar to the subframe. the part on the subframe that holds it in broke off. now it just hangs there a little. it makes the same noise you describe when i hit bumps and everything else in my car suspension wise has been replaced in the last 3 months. im thinking about getting a new subframe but maybe ill just someone to fab me a piece and weld it on and replace the mounting bracket with the $5 dealer part. but i heard this is a common problme with e30's as well. good luck.Comment
