So DanGillan and I went to the junkyard today. There were some good pieces, maay need to go back and pull some OBC and Cruise Controls, and maybe some interior panels.
One thing we did find, a superETA. At least that is what I figured it was from the tach. Now I know people are always looking to get the pistons from these bad boys, so we figured we would go back and get them sometime.
I have never done any interior engine work this involved. How the hell do we get the pistons out?
Can someone give us an article or a run-down on what we need to do?
If so these will be out and up for sale soon!
Thanks

. They've cleared a lot out lately but I did see the pistons you mentioned. Was the engine bay open already? There looked to be water in them puddling. I had them pull a transmission and flywheel for me and they only charged $50 for labor. You may want to just ask them what they'd charge. Getting underneath the cars at that place would be a real nightmare. I had my eyes on those at one point but ended up with an entire super eta free so I didn't need them.
