There is no chip for the super E, but when you did the head swap what else did you swap? Did you do the full i conversion? It so you can use the i ecu and get a chip for that.

The Super Eta still has the 325e cam and single valve springs. Upgrade that to the 325i stuff and it'll fly.

I thought is was JUST the single valve springs. Are you sure about the cam?

Yes, the cam needs replacement too.

Using dual valve springs with the existing cam will do nothing, except maybe prevent valve float. If you don't change the cam, the engine is essentially the same as when it had single springs. Also, you should consider changing the intake as well. While the eta intake was designed for the eta, if you cam the head, the gains from the cam won't be realized without increasing air flow.

Contact Mark D. He can make you a chip.
Ya just swap you intake manifold, throttle body, cam, valve springs and have some fun.

I tried installing an i chip in a 154 DME and it didn't work but it could have just been a bad chip. I ended up just using an entire 325i Motronic (#380).

Exactly MY plan, but I'm going to have a JimC chip as well.
