      Trunk Lock broken?

I had a new BMW master key made from a dealership, and it still will not work in the trunk. It is like the key won't go in the slot at all?? I noticed that someone kicked in my tail light a little bit and beginning to wonder if someone didn't jam something in my trunk lock and damage it? I sprayed some anti-seize/penetrant into the lock a few times yesterday and no change. Would a locksmith have more luck than me? I'm desperate and about to open it with a power drill or crowbar, but don't wanna do permanent damage....:(

"If you're not honestly worried about destroying your trunk lock (which sounds pretty much shot anyways) What you need is a powerdrill, a decent sized self tapping screw, and a crowbar. Drill the screw into the key slot but leave a bit sticking out for the crowbar. Put a block of wood down to pry against and pry that bitch out. It worked on my roommates motorcycle and I'm will to bet it'll work on your trunk."

--Will this work? Then how do I find a replacement truck lock with matching key, from a junkyard?

Take off trunk roundel and drilll a hole- then use hanger. Makes it EZ to cover up hole later on.
