    stalling :-(

last night , my car started stalling, It has new plugs/wires/rotorcap and im hoping its maybe bad gas. It will run fine and then bog down for a few mins., (doesnt want to rev up beyond 3k) adn then run perfectly fine for a while. I drove it again this morning and it seemed fine and then bogged down again. It didnt have much gas, so i filled it up, hoping it was just the gas gremlin (its not). I also just changed the air filter (thiniing that might be it), still bogs down...
    help me guys :-)

Is the fuel pump making noise? A failing pump can cause the symptoms you describe.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

Sounds like a fuel related issue.

It did about 2 months ago, but I replaced the Thermostat and housing, and it ran fine.

Sounds like a fuel filter to me. When the car sits for a while, all the particles settle inside the filter so it will run briefly when you restart. Replace it. But you might want to checkout the FPs prefilter in the tank too...

wiggle the fuel relay and main relay around a bit, or even remove them and clean off any tarnishing you see on the contacts. Couldn't hurt, and has been known to solve this type of problem in the past. This problem reared its ugly head on my car, and after replacement of the fuel pump relay the problem has not reappeared.

                      Which relay's are which.

It doesn't say in the manual.

Read the Bentley. The fuel is a 4-prong and the main is a 5-prong. The Bentley lists the wire colors for the fuel relay plug so you can make sure you have the right one. I don't have it handy or I'd check for you.

                          Thanks.

Such a frustrating problem. It is sort of comforting to know that others are having the same issue.

Hey German, when you rev it out past 3k, what does it do? Mine makes a very specific rhythmic fluttering sound... It almost sounds like a dying woofer. Mine does it soo randomly.
