Dang Tire rack, they won't sell me the Parada's as they don't have a high enough load rating for the e30  Oh well the order got changed to AVs' Es100 in 205/50/r16, I don't drive as aggresive as Erik. So hopefully they'll work good and not wear out to quick, I wanted to get some Potenza 750's but again the guy on the guy on the phone didn't recomend putting potenza's on the rear and the Yoko's on the front. Oh well at least i'll have new tires.

Parada's 1074 lbs @44 psi
Es 100's 1168 lbs @44 psi
Not by much but he wouldn't sell them to me as he said they wouldn't be safe. Only way I could get them is to find a lighter 4x100 lug car and lie about what car I own, plus they have record of my last buy which was 205/50/r16 so he was wondering why I was going to a 45. I guese I'll have to live with a nice shiny spot of metal on my inner fender well.85 325e 2.7 ITB'd stroker

yeah if you have a set of winter tires you could make them last longer. I have also done 3 autocrosses on this set of tires, that took a pretty good chunk off of them. and rotate them, if I had rotated mine earlier they might have lasted a little bit longer. lastly, make sure your car is aligned and that you have proper tire pressure!

Why would you want to get 205/45-16 anyways? Lower gearing? I personally think undersized tires look kinda gay on our cars.
The ES100's will last, as long as your car is aligned properly and you're not autocrossing them every weekend. I've driven pretty hard on mine for about 5k and they have plenty of tread left.'91 318is

Becuase full lock of the wheels or close to full lock the tire rubs on the back edge of the fender well and it's nice and shiny now so I was hoping to elimnate that I would go with 225/45/r16 but I DOUBT I could get 225 under the fenders. The car was alligned last year, it still feeld pretty straight but if not after the new tires I'll get it alligned.
Winter Tires :loco:I'm ion TN We get maybe 3 inchs of snow a year and when it happens there is no point in going anywhere as EVERYTHING closes.

My car is not driven THAT much, or should I say not as much as I want to.
I go to brazil often enough to leave the car parked for around 1/4 of the year..... then there's a month in jackstands in total...
Since I got my ES100s in mid-January, I'm hoping that it'll last until early '05. I'm a moderate driver....... I push it once in a while on the backroads 8)
All I can say is good luck with your new tires. You'll love the handling..... however from January, I'm already seeing wear marks on mine...Erick Mahle | FullOpp Drift | YouTube

Ya but what Offset? You can ask Bill when I had an M10 in the trunk the rear tires were tucked and there was litterly only about 1/16 inch or 1/8 inch clearence and that was in a spot where the fender is rolled sligtly I could maybe get away with them up front. I know 225/45/r16 is the recomended size over 205/4585 325e 2.7 ITB'd stroker
