    exhaust wrap

This question is mainly aimed towards the turbo guys, or anyone else who has experience with this.

I want to wrap my exhaust manifolds, but am not sure who to go with. There is a company called ThermoTec which seems to specialize in heat-shielding, but I would like some other opinions.

    Thanks!

from what i've heard, Jet Hot ceramic coating is as effective and less likely to cause rust.

I'm using ThermoTec, and it works great, after turning off the car i can touch the downpipe..for 1 or 2 secs without getting burned :)

        Pics available...

I also have thermo-tec heat wrap on my down pipe, and it does work good at keeping the heat in the pipe. I've done the same thing, being able to my hand on the down pipe right after driving it.

I have a brand new box of thermotec wrap lying around if anyone wants it. I paid like $50 for it years ago.. i'd let it go cheap. :)

How much is in a box?

"See, we're adding a little something to this month's sales contest. As you all know, first prize is a Cadillac Eldorado. Anyone wanna see second prize? Second prize is a set of steak knives. Third prize is you're fired."
