    Should I install 17lb injectors

Ok, I've been chasing a strange idle for a few weeks.
I have replaced the spark plugs, the fuel line, the fuel filter and went from a 1.1 ECU to a 1.3ECU
The only other thing I can think of is a fouled fuel injector.
I got a set of 17lb injectors for free.
However, Im worried that installing the 17lb injectors with my car will cause it to idle poorly.

Currently, I have a stock 173 ECU and a Supersprint exhaust, so at the moment it doesnt NEED to get an upgrade to bigger injectors. However, Im having Turner burn me a new JimC chip with 5% more fuel throughout the range in the coming weeks and I don't want to max out my fuel injector duty cycle.

    So, what do you think?
Should I install the 17s, or trade them for stock ones?

I say put them in. they won't make it idle poorly, unless there is something terribly wrong with your engine.

replaced the O2 sensor yet? got any vacuum leaks (intake boot, intake gaskets), how about the upper part of your exhaust, is that leaking? all of those things can affect your idle.

I don't think the 17# will make your engine run worse, but I don't think they would fix anything unless one of yours is toast.

Stick them in with some larger intake-mod. Check for vacuum leaks.

Im gonna go back and check for vacuum leaks
I did take apart the whole intake when installing my new fuel line... I could have forgotten to tighten a clamp somewhere

no, the old JimC chip is getting traded to Turner in exchange for a new 173 custom chip
