    IX owners...WHEELS??

i was about to buy some borbets, but it turns out that they won't fit. they would rub the fenders in the front, and not fit in the back. they were 15x7 et25 4x100.

someone said to find wheels that would fit a MKIII jetta or gti.

who knows the spec's for wheels that can fit on an IX?

IX owners...what type of wheels do you have? pics?

how do you know they won't fit? is your ride height stock? those should fit easily with 205/55-15s on a stock height car. hell, I used to have 16x7.5 ET20 wheels on my car!

You should look for wheels with ET30 - ET40 mm instead. Yes, Golf and Jetta will fitt and have about the same stock ET as the iX. I have no idea what kind of wheels I have :)

yeah man there are a ton of wheels to fit our cars. civic, vw wheels. get on tirerack and use an integra or a vw as the car and you'll get about 80 wheels that will fit.

Unfortunately, that's stock. Something I plan to remedy, I will take care of it when I check out a camber issue I have in the front. If you look at my sig pic it is equally apparent how high it is, having the iX body kit on doesn't make a difference.
I will start another thread on this subject, I need to get some ideas..

keep in mind that the rear fender arch is lower than the front, giving an illusion that it is lower in the rear....

yes, but on the ix the side skirt comes down about 1/2" below the fenders, and there is still a huge gap there. it could be saggy suspension or stuff in his trunk, but when my car had stock springs and bilstiens, you could see the rear shock and there was at least an inch of fender gap in the rear, and close to two inches in the front. lower rear arches or not, the ix sits like a truck!
