    Sythetic Oil??

    I have a 1990 325is and I'm wondering whether to use synthetic oil. I also have a 1997 328i in which i use Mobile 1 Synthetic oil that works great. I heard from a friend that it is not always good to use sythetic oil on the e30. Does anyone have any input on this issue? Thnx in advance.

          It depends. If your motor already leaks some oil, switching to synthetic will only make it leak more. If you have a great motor with no leaks and whatnot, synthetic should be great for your motor.

              Yes. Even if you do not have any oil leaks it still might leak a little. Try it out and see how it works out.

                  Thnx guys. I might just give it a try. I have no leaks on the e30 right now and synthetic is better.
