      ahhh!!!

      some people are telling me they are different between early and late models?!
      And some tell me there isnt a difference?!?!?! ahh!

      Are they all spade connectors now?

        yup thats the part # I got, But I just wasnt sure if thats it for sure of if there is a different one for different years...

          so just tell them what you need at the store or shop if you have trouble call a BMW dealer and let them know what is wrong they can pull up engine breakdown diagrams and get you set up i have gone to the dealer before and picked their brain for 1 and a half hours

            ya im just going to use the part number thats on realoem and as long as the new switch fits and doesnt leak im good, if the wiring id different than I'll fix it another day...

                  The earlier version had a spade connector ( and I believe coarser threads), which he has on his car. The later version had the square connector, which he SHOULD have on his car (taking for granted it's the original engine and switch). The connectors are different, but interchangeable. Someone has changed the wire and connector on his car.

                    Thanks for the part number man but I already got the it, I got the late model one ( damn parts man)
                    ITs cool though, I ground off the plastic around the connecter and put in a female spade conecter to make contact, ghettop, but its works very well so far!

                      One thing you might want to watch for also is the part that the oil filter is mounted on. I forgot the exact name of that part but I was going through a case of oil in a week before I did something about it. I realized that the oil was leaking between that part and the engine block. Once I replaced the o-ring and tightened it down, the problem was fixed.
