So, how'd it do? What fan did you end up using?

Does anyone know how many CFMs does the aux. fan put out?

I used the SPAL fan... their low profile 16" pusher. I had one heating past the half line issue, but I was doing a standing burnout after 3 minutes of non-stop drifting to kill the tires. :pErick Mahle | FullOpp Drift | YouTube

The reason I ask is because I may try the same setup, one of my friends is a 240 nut, and he's got the same radiator. He says the RB swap guys have the same problems with clearance. Do you think this would cool efficiently for back-to-back AX runs in ~85 degree ambient temps and track days at about the same temp range? My stock stuff, with AC condenser gets a little warm after 4 back-to-back runs and about halfway through a DE group session, to the point where I have to short shift to keep temps down.'89 325i track sloot

I've seen RB swaps using Flex-a-lite hi-performance pullers. But a pusher fan would work just as well I'm sure. If he can space it properly (and there is space on the 240) he can throw a high performance pusher (single unit) and get that radiator cool.
Just make sure to get a fan that covers as much of the core as possible.
Thanks,
