    Mintex Redbox pads?

How good are they, worth the money? I am thinking about buying this auction:

I already have a set of PBR Deluxe pads for the rear, and new rotors coming soon...

Good value. Good bite. BAD, BAD dust.

I have not experienced this bad dust Jason speaks of. I've run them, good feel, good bite, not a bad duster (in my experience), perhaps you were running a different pad Jason?

I had them in the front, TJ.

They squealed like a stuck pig, but the dust was not too bad, and they stopped just fine.

Ted, did you do any autocrosses with them? I forgot to mention this for for street and autocross use.

Ted, they were definitely the Mintex Red Box pads. The have been on two different cars of mine. On the E30, they were very dusty, but I did like the feel and bite. On my Tii, I liked the feel and bite even better, but they were also dusty (just not quite as bad as the E30...??). I've talked to others who haven't had the same dusting problem, but your guess is as good as mine as to why that might be.

TJ, I would have felt comfortable autox-ing with them on occassion. They have survived many spirited canyon runs, so an autox would have been fine.
