Upper one is a Transfer pump/level sender
Lower one is just a level sender.
What year cars are these off of? I could possibley use the upper one(maybe my car's fuel system is all screwed up and has the wrong parts on it.

Does it have an external Fuel pump also on the driver's side?

Would that one be down under the car, near where the fuel filter is?

                  Forgive me, I can't remember! :D

I think you're right James. I think the top pic is the fuel pump and lever sender, and the second one is just a lever sender.

Ya they should that is what is messed up with my 88 as it has two level sending unit in the take and no internal pump Only one external Fuel pump the car runs fine once warmed but it takes it a while to build up fuel pressure(just noticed since Installing My ADJFPR)

89 don't have an external fuel pump, just the one in the tank, like James said
