    S50 for $1400

Found a complete 1999 S50 locally for $1400 in good condition. Is this a good deal? What accessories would have to be included?

I've almost completed buying the pieces for turbocharging my car, but if this is a hugely better deal I might be convinced to switch plans.

nitpick much? He probably meant S52. who cares?

sounds like a great deal to me. how many miles?

there's a whole forum dedicated to this, but the basics of it are you need the wiring harness, ECU, and an E34 M50 oil pan. there's more details but go check the M/S50 swap forum for that :p

sounds like a great deal, so long as its an s52 or a 95 s50.

            Yea, S50 was my mistake.

I have to decide whether or not I want to ditch my almost complete turbocharger setup and do an S52 swap...

I've spent nearly $2k on my turbo setup, is this a good enough deal to change my plans?

its a good deal if it runs, if there isn't broken parts, and if its complete...then yes!

take turbo, combine with s52, add gas. Thats what you should do.

You can always rebuy turbo crap its not like it's going anywhere.

M3 motors are not as easy to come by in decent non-raped condition.
I'd rethink what you want out of your car.
Unless you've done some serious building on your M20, you can build that S52 to rape kittens yo. Properly done S52 swapped E30 is unreal and you can tune the hell out of it and still get a good amount of money back when you go to sell it!

this is true, an S52 swapped car will get you A LOT more money back when you sell it than a turbo'd m20
