my vert leaks at the small triangle window, roof, indshield interesction. drips onto left thigh. here in vancouver bc it rains 150 days a year so i try to park it inside as often as possible and dry it out like mad in the sunny days. i have new seals for the top that i installed. it did nothing but i think the new triangle window seals would tighten it all up. i put some polyurethane selant on there and it did not stick for very long before it fell off and leaked yet again.

it is literally a chore to keep dry and not let get moldy. my hardtop has far fewer water issues though.

also another reason why i drive my volkswagen van during the winter.

Look into that corner and just push very softly up against the top and you should see it.

I was told that you will never get our cars completely sealed unless you go with a hardtop. Just another good thing to be a vert owner haha.
I have a brand new top with tension straps and cables replaced and I ran into the exact same problem because I did not replace the front seal.
I believe that it also depends on how good your door hinges are. I feel that my drivers door's are not the best and the alignment is a bit off, nothing that you can notice by looking at it but it still affects the gap where your top/door/frame meet.
Anyways, it could drop from there on your seat and run down to the bottom. I have went home with a wet butt a couple times

I found a way of improving that though. If you put a very thin washer being the railing that holds the driver window seal, it slightly helps get it a bit tighter and most of the time it doesn't leak unless I am standing at a traffic light in very heavy rain. Door hinges are my next try to get rid of the leak

Yea, Well I already know that I need EVERY seal replaced haha. I have had my windows adjusted, helped alittle but I have a small cut right where the top and the front drivers window touch so I sometimes stuff a paper towel in it.

If they weren't so fun to drive when the weather is nice...I'd be in a coupe/sedan but actually now I have a sedan so thats covered.

            Leaks

I have leaks as well. Major leak on the driver's side, where the convertible top and the side window have a gap, near the triangle window, and another, smaller leak at the front.

Can someone post pictures and part numbers of the side and front seals?
