    Oh yeah. Injectors installed!

Spent this afternoon installing my 19# injectors. Runs smoother, and I believe the throttle response is much improved.

    The beginning. (He was sneezing)

Paper towels to soak up gasoline.

Installed. Would have more in process pics, but we had our hands full....and dirty......

    Celebration. Jumping high five!

    Bonus clean car picture.

You guys were a little too happy, Its not that hard to install injectors ;). Nice job. I hope you de-pressureized your fuel system before taking it apart. My enighboor pulled my FPR off one time and gas went all over him

What'd you do with the gasoline-soaked paper towels?
My mountains are better than yours.

Nice did you pull the valve cover? I did when I tossed my 19lbers in and now with the Hartge cover you can barely see the injectors at all.

I've got a question for you that has nothing to do with your injectors (although nice job). You know where I can center caps for the type Ts like those? Mine have these ones that look like a bolt and I think yours look way cleaner.

Saul, we were having fun in that picture, but it did feel good to be done. A fucking bolt that didn't want to be removed in the beginning was a pain, and like the injector retainer clips were annoying, so it did call for celebration in the end.....if overexaggerated in the pic.

Kris, collected them in a garbage bag. Always need something to help start our bonfires. Dad did some tree trimming, should be handy.

Ely, I did not. It would have probably been easier if we did.

We did release fuel pressure, but the fuel rail still contained an amount of gas.

Matto, I used to have the bolt ones, but I bought these centers off of Andrew, 318driver, when he curbed/bent his Type C's.

btw, with more driving, 19# fucking kick ass! So much smoother, so much better throttle response than the old, worn-out stockers.

            PLUS+ Seafoam action cleaning!

            And another bonus picture:

no! 19# injectors are the devil and will make your engine run too rich and shitty like.. ;)
good to see that they're working fine for you. make sure to track your fuel mileage manually. the fuel-economy gauge is off by a bit, mostly in the middle part of the gauge. I got bored of looking at it a long time ago so I didn't care :P

btw, that's what my street looked like when I used sea-foam! the cloud went all the way down the street, so thick you couldn't see through it. :P
