What ever happened to this thing? Is the guy still developing it? Has anyone even heard of this before?

A motor is not caracterized only by its peak HP. Most MAF kits will allow minor HP gains, but they do offer a better torque curve, and allow better drivability. More torque means better accelerations.
Brake harder. Go faster. No shit.

haha it wasn't even 5hp, they couldn't even get the car to run properly on their "plug and play" kit, which involved hacking apart your connector...

sure but it's still not worth $500. that's full standalone EMS territory..

Without changing the engine's internals, any programmable stand alone system will not yeld more power. It takes more air to get more power, which the MAF does at midrange by ditching the AFM's flap.

Im gonna have to disagree, a well tuned programmable stand alone will yield more power than a stock ecu map. Timing and fuel are just as important as air flow.

Edit: Im not saying more airflow isnt helpful, but adding air without tuning for it wont give you "what you paid for".
