Difference In Weight Between Early and Late 325i(s)'s?

Also, why does an 89+ 325i(s) weigh 50 lbs more than an '87-'88 325i(s) ?

Figure the later car has:

- plastic bumpers instead of diving boards (less weight).
- lower rear arches (more weight).
- driver airbag (more weight).
- revised cooling system (any weight difference?).
