clunking noise

    Well, it turns out the axle is toast. The CV on the wheel side is worn and the teeth look abused.....time to fork over the $$450:(

      Look for a good used one! No need to pay all that money. I'm gonna have 2 available in a week or 2. I'm gonna be parting out an 89 325i as a matter of fact.

        i get this tapping feeling on the clutch pedal when the engine is at idle with a noise that goes with it and also im getting a cluncking sound when i get on the gas let go and hit the gas again. i get it also when i disengage the clutch in first gear and i can feel the clunking right where the shifter is. i think it might be the center support bearing or the guibo. what do u guys think?
