Since e30's don't have guibo's you are in luck. You are already done.Tenured Automotive Service Professional - Avid BMW Enthusiast

all 6 bolts are out of it?... unbolt the center support bearing, and drop the driveshaft down and off the transmission output flange, then remove the flex disc.Tenured Automotive Service Professional - Avid BMW Enthusiast

well i have some interesting news, a few hours ago when i felt up inside the heat shield to see how far the center support bering was, i encountered a rock, so i thought nothing of it and took the exaust and heat shield off. Then i noticed there were scatches in the drive shaft, so i think what must of happend is the rock caused those sounds. It would really only happen after i did a zig zag motion to initiate a drift so i think then the rock would go against the drive shaft and scrap against it then when i would go in reverse the rock would be knocked away because the drivveshaft would be spining the other way, does this sound logical?
