    windows wontwork :(

Iv got a problem with my windows. They wont go down anymore. Both of them went dead all of a sudden and i am not really sure whats wrong. The fuse is good, and i switched the relay with one that i just replaced but nothin would work. My dad tried testing the power to the switches with a multi meter, but there wasnt any. Any help would be greatly apreciated.

And if this doesnt go here, then sorry. i wasnt sure where to pt this

Though you checked it - sure sounds like a fuse to me.

ok, i dont see any rectangular button next to the window switches. The up/down buttons themselves are rectangular, but i dont see any other button aroound them. Where is it? IN the center where the wires are near the shifter or what?

ok, found it. Its the only button in the dash with no marking on it. It would have helped if someone had actually said where it was. Ad it was in no way near the window switches at all. just fyi

It depends on the car. Some cars its by the hazard switch. Some it's in the center console.

Early models have them next to the hazard/defrost switch. Late models have them down by the window switches.

                      Did pressing the button work?

i had a car do this to me before, wasn't getting any power. ended up just running a jumper wire to the power window circuit. never figured it out, but i got the car for free and didn't want to spend a lot of time diagnosing it.
