What driveshaft do I use if I retain the e30 transmission?
I have an 89' 325is 5-speed.

if you're using the stock E30 transmission I'm pretty sure you use the stock E30 driveshaft. :) -
Drive shaft doesn't change. Now if you change to the ZF unit then it's an E30 M3 unit.Comment

Ok, I thought for some reason that the transmission was shifted back when you slapped it on the m50. Thanks for the clarification. By the way Greg, where did you find your m50 and how much did you pay for it, if you don't mind me asking?'91 318is

M50 = same size as M20, pretty much.
