    for you m50 swap guys

does 8k for an S52 swap sound reasonable? I was thinking it would cost north of 10k...

Included in the price is 3.2l motor
    obd1 conversion
    e36 cats
    custom exhaust from cats back
    bolt up to existing tranny
    2.93 or a 3.25 lsd

all labor and misc. things I may not have mentioned here.....

i do believe large amount is the install price if someone else does it.

a large amount is saved if the swap becomes DIY

if you're in San Diego and will source the parts, I'll do the swap for a grand :)
otherwise, if you're doing this as a turn key mod, 8k is pretty good for all that

Isn't the labor about the same for an s50 swap and an m50 swap?

The labor is the same put the price of the engine/parts are much different.

what's the price difference between an M50 and an S50?

I'd go S50 rather than S52, you'll save the cost and effort of switching to ODB1
