Good luck finding a shop that will do it.

I have a friend who owns a custom exhaust shop, he's going to chop mine out for me after hours when I get my car.

yeah, that seems to be the problem for me too about finding someone to do it. i guess you just find someone who will do it under the table. We dont have smog tests out here in ohio either, so it could be done.

i am going to order the bmp free flow cat. i've got my dads credit card in hand  .

with the huge hole in my cat, my car is so fucking loud i can't hear my music without cranking it way up+ i have a bb triflo so its not exactly quiet to being with.

from bavauto (perhaps a bit pricey but whatever) they quoted 1380 for a stock cat. and 520 for an aftermarket unit.

i live in gettysburg, pa, not california there is no bad section of town and there is only one exhaust shop and i already called them. So unless i find a civil war reinactor that can weld, this is pretty much the only option.

I was running a BMP cat. I was pretty happy with it. It is a lot lighter than the oem. I don't care much for BMP, but I was happy with the 'bolt up' cat on my eta. The only problem I had were the heat shields on the cat rattling loose. I finally just removed them.

Don't forget the good things Hitler did.

On older american cars theres a plug on the cat u can cut off, give it gas all these lil beads come out and its free flowing.

                Its neat.

Oh you put the plug back in after..

                Sold it.

the guy i am going to get a used one from is only 45 minutes away, its a waste to pay for shipping. thanx for the offer. It will also be bolt up, instead of welding needing to be done. thanx for the offer though.
