Just pulled the track car out of winter storage, and noticed the brake pedal goes down pretty far on the first pump. It still engages the brakes fine, but it happens way down near the floor. On the second pump (if I let go and immediately re-apply the brakes) it stops much higher. If I wait 5+ seconds then re-apply the brakes, back down to the floor the pedal goes. I can stop the car just fine, but that just doesn't seem right.
It's an 87 325is, 1/2 life Hawk HPS, stainless lines all around, new ATE fluid, all about 6 months ago. Brakes were fine for every track event last year, and it just sat for the past 3 months. Is this a booster or vacuum related problem, or whats the deal?
I drove the car for about an hour, problem never got worse or went away, and no leaks.
