    wierd acceleration from full stop...

this has just started happening, but it seems like whenever I accelerate (floor it) from a dead stop (doesnt do it when im even rolling) my car gets to like 2500 rpm, then randomly drops to 1700 rpm, then raises again. It makes for a really slow launch, and I cant figure out a way around it. It seems the only way to get a good launch is to let off the clutch way toooo slow, then it sorta launches. Any ideas anyone?? thanks guys,

EDIT: it doesnt go it in neutral when i gas it

are u talking about launching from a dead stop at 2500rpm, then haveing your rpms drop? because if u drop the clutch at 2500rpms its defintally gona either bog the car a bit or burn out.

no, not dropping the clutch, but letting it off pretty fast, it doesnt do it when it peels out, only flooring it with no tire spin.

Can you make a short movie or sound clip of it happening?

or just give it more gas, then you'll get moving. (btw Stop drag racing)

not drag racing, just fast acceleration, bimmers arent for straight lines, curves...
