Getting AFM wheel back to where it should be.

Did the M30 AFM swap. Little detail: friend played with wheel when I wasn't looking.

Dyno A/F reading said it was running rich. How can I tune it back to where it should be?

you can fine tune the mixture with the screw under that little cap. other than that, i'd buy an air fuel ratio guage and mess with the wheel location till you find a good AFR at idle and WOT.

on my afm, the stock location was two full turns left, from all the way closed (right).

however, each car's AFM is slightly different, notice the small 3 numbers by the adjustment screw. i believe that has something to do with it.

FYI, I scratched some marks on the wheel when I took it apart so I could set it back to the factory spot.. dunno if you were using the same posistion though.

            Dude, you rock.

I'm going to try to find them. Where were the marks, in the middle on the two spring, or what?

When I get dressed, I'm going to pop that bitch. I just woke up.

they are on the outside, near the teeth. it should line up with the spring/wire thingy that goes into the teeth.

                Thanks. Great thinking, btw.

I went out, popped the cover off, found the notch, moved it to the right place. Drove it, then resealed cover.

The notch was over a ways from where it should have been. About where the other wire was. Moving it to where it was stock was the way you turn to make it lean, I believe. So that should take care of my car running a little rich.

                Thanks!
