I would say YES, that is why I suggested you pull the Coil wire. The car can't fire a plug but all else will happen.

You pulled the wrong item. review Bentley again.

OK, I just unhooked the ignition control unit and tested it out.

My old CSV works perfectly (nice even spray).

      Perhaps it's the FPR now?

Go back a few post ago, I had suggested that first. Either that or its the acumulator.

OK, I'll be getting a new FPR from Ely. I'll update this thread when I test it out.

          Thanks!

            Update:

I installed the FPR a few days ago and it totally fixed the problem! It starts up now after 1-2 cranks (faster than my Mom's Grand Cherokee), much faster than I ever thought it would start up.

Also, since replacing it, I have had ZERO hesitation while accelerating.

Cool, always good to test parts before replacing them.

Glad I could help Ken, sorry the Coldstart valve didn't help at first but at least we worked that out.

Thanks for helping me out with parts, Ely. Your CSV should be in the mail tomorrow back to you.

Could it be the One way valve on the fuel pump?
